A little bit about me...

Hello! My name is Joshua Klopstra, and my journey with accounting began when I was first introduced to the subject, sparking a passion that has directed my career ever since. I earned my Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and later achieved my Chartered Accountant designation while articling for a leading national public accounting firm.
With over 15 years in public practice, I've prepared personal taxes, corporate year-ends, financial statements, and more, across a broad spectrum of occupations and industries. Whether you're a budding entrepreneur or an established enterprise, I'm here to offer tailored accounting and taxation solutions to meet your needs.
Besides my professional endeavors, I've also educated future Chartered Accountants at the Chartered Accountant School of Business, volunteered on various not-for-profit boards and committees, and explored Alberta with a Class 1 driver's license pulling a Doepker Super B Bulker, which enriched my understanding of the unique challenges my clients face. Alongside my professional journey, I cherish my personal life with my wife and our five children, making our home near Edmonton.
